What exactly does a Virtual Assistant do?
A Virtual Assistant (VA) provides remote admin support to small business owners and recruiters. That includes tasks like replying to emails, scheduling appointments, managing your inbox, updating your diary, and chasing payments, all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps your business running smoothly.
How can a Virtual Assistant help my small business?
If your to-do list is full of admin, I can take it off your hands so you can focus on client work and growing your business. It’s about buying back time, even just a couple of hours a week can make a real difference.
What are the benefits of outsourcing admin instead of hiring someone?
Outsourcing is flexible and cost-effective. By hiring me, you don’t need to worry about things such payroll, pensions, office equipment, holiday pay or HR - all the things that come with hiring a permanent employee. You just book the time you need - no more, no less - and get reliable, experienced support when it matters.
Is there a minimum number of hours I need to commit to?
No minimum commitment. You can book a one-off hour or regular support. Some clients need a one-off admin clearout or help with a particular project, while others like to keep me on hand each week. It’s entirely up to you.
How do we communicate? Is everything done remotely?
Most clients contact me via email or WhatsApp, but I’m happy to work in the way that suits you. Although I work remotely, being based in Chatham means that, if you are locally based in Kent, then I am happy to offer in-person support.
What types of businesses do you usually work with?
I mainly support small business owners and independent recruiters who are doing it all themselves, managing inboxes, juggling appointments, and chasing invoices. If that sounds familiar, we’ll likely work well together.
How soon can you start?
Usually within a few days. If something’s urgent, just let me know. I’ll always try to find a slot where I can.
How do I book time with you, and how is it tracked?
